| Some heritage restorations, due to their complexity, extensive scope, and the process they undergo, are introduced as suitable models for future restoration projects. The restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris is one such example. The fire in this famous cathedral drew the attention of all global heritage enthusiasts towards its restoration. Its theoretical decisions and practical restoration operations have also established it as a model in terms of temporal speed and restoration quality. The officials and restorers of this renowned edifice successfully mobilized various communities and groups to participate in its restoration. Researchers and experts also identified a suitable opportunity for discussion and exchange of views, and these dialogues advanced the knowledge of restoration and its philosophical implications concerning this historical work. The experiences and discussions that emerged during the restoration and reconstruction of Notre-Dame de Paris can be considered and applied in many similar cases |
