fa تخت یا درخت؟ تأملی در خاستگاه‌های ذهنیِ بی‌اعتنایی به فهم و حفظ میراث محیط مصنوع در ایران Platform or Tree? Reflections on the Mental Origins of Disregard for Understanding and Preserving the Heritage Built Environment in Iran تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research <div style="text-align: justify;">در ایران، آثار تاریخی همواره بر اثر توسعۀ بی‌رویه یا بی‌اعتنایی به محیط یا اهمال در محافظت، یا به سبب هم‌نوا نبودن حفظ آثار و بافت‌های تاریخی با نیازهای اقتصادی از میان می‌رود. بی‌اعتنایی به حفظ و فهم شهر و محیط‌های شهری از تک‌آثار به‌مراتب بیشتر است. در تاریخ معماری نیز به تک‌اثرها، به‌ویژه آثار فاخر شهری، می‌نگرند و معماری مردم و محیط‌های شهری و روستایی را شایستۀ مطالعه و ذکر در تاریخ‌نامه‌های معماری نمی‌شمارند. همۀ اینها ناشی از معضلات مدیریتی و اقتصادی و اجتماعی و فرهنگی است. اما این معضلاتْ خاستگاه‌هایی ذهنی دارد و به طرز نگرش مردم و مدیران بازمی‌گردد. اصلاح پایدارِ شیوه‌های مدیریت و محافظت و مطالعه و تحقیق نیازمند فهم آن طرز نگرش است. در این نوشته، برخی از مهم‌ترینِ این معضلات ذهنی بررسی می‌شود. از جملۀ این معضلات، نگرش عامل‌محور به معماری و شهر است. برای روشن شدن این طرز نگرش، به انواع اصلیِ پیدایی و رشد محیط مصنوع در ایران پیشامدرن پرداخته و مفاهیم ملازم با آنها، از قبیل فرهنگ ساختن و فرهنگ‌های مادی و غیرمادی، توضیح داده می‌شود. در نهایت،  نشان داده می‌شود که آثار معماری گذشته، کوچک یا بزرگ، بومی یا فاخر، سلول‌هایی از فرهنگیْ ازمیان‌رفته است که همچنان در حافظه و هویت جمعی جامعه اثر می‌گذارد؛ و ازاین‌رو، ضرورت محافظت از آنها فراتر از جنبه‌های زیبایی‌شناختی و کارکردی است</div> <div>In Iran, historical monuments are frequently threatened by uncontrolled development, environmental neglect, insufficient protection, or the misalignment of heritage preservation with economic needs. Urban and broader cityscapes suffer even greater neglect than individual architectural works. Architectural historiography has traditionally emphasized singular, often monumental urban buildings, while vernacular architecture and rural or urban environments are largely overlooked. These issues reflect managerial, economic, social, and cultural challenges, which are ultimately rooted in prevailing attitudes and perceptions among both the public and decision-makers. Sustainable reform in heritage management and research therefore requires understanding these underlying mindsets. This study examines key cognitive challenges, particularly the agentical viewpoint of architecture and urbanism. To clarify this perspective, it shortly analyzes the main modes of emergence and growth of the built environment in premodern Iran, along with related concepts such as building culture and material and immaterial cultural practices. The study shows that historical architectural works—whether modest or monumental, vernacular or elite—represent cells of a once-thriving culture whose influence persists in collective memory and social identity.
